There will be some years that are completely freemium but others that I will class as premium because they require one or two paid mods to complete. After all, it is Assetto Corsa’s 6th Year and it is still going strong! As with all modding some are better than others as well as being more recent. Thanks to the AC modding community there is a plethora of cars, skins and track mods that allow this to happen. My aim, if there is enough interest, is to release them over the coming weeks Tracks/Cars: All the tracks/Cars can be found using original AC tracks, Racedepartment, assettocorsaclub or a google search.ĭuring the lockdown I’ve cobbled together a number of F1 decades (3-4 years from each) to make up a Career mode and a User Championship mode to celebrate the 70 Years of Formula 0ne from 1950-2020 - The years (TBC) are 1950s (8), 60’s (7/69), 70’s (9), 80’s (8), 90’s (8), 00’s (9), 10’s (2013/17) and 2020.We think F1 2011 is possibly the best looking racing game around, and will please hardcore fans and newcomers alike.

Codemasters have taken a sport which can often feel dry and unwelcoming, and made it dynamic, visceral and exciting. The sense of speed is maybe unparalleled, while the rain effect is absolutely gorgeous. Conclusionį1 2011 is more of an evolution than a revolution, but that still makes it an excellent game. Driving manually while using KERS and DRS is certainly a challenge, but the great thing about F1 2011 is that you don't have to make things that tough! The artificial intelligence of other cars is great, giving you interesting and fun competition even in one player mode. Careers are still excellent though, and you can tailor the difficulty and detail to your wishes, which will keep everyone happy. It looks good, but means getting to the action is longer than it needs to be. Like its predecessor, and other Codemasters racing games, F1 2011 houses its career in an attractive motor-home which acts as your menu hub. There are two new circuits, the Nurburgring and Buddh International Circuit. Multiplayer is still excellent, and now features split-screen mode. The first gives drivers a quick power boost for overtaking, while DRS allows drag to be reduced while racing, again giving a possible speed boost. In terms of realism, there is now an optional safety car for people who want the full F1 experience, and the KERS and DRS systems have been introduced too.
